PvE all the way. The only things trying to eat you here are the wildlife and, occasionally, your own tribe's cooking. A separate PvP map is being explored for survivors who wake up and choose violence, but it would stay completely separate from the PvE cluster.

Not on Virexon, sorry. Virexon runs ARK: Survival Ascended (ASA), which is only available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. PS4 and Xbox One only have the older ARK: Survival Evolved, which can't join ASA servers. Upgrading to a PS5, Xbox Series X|S or PC? We'll keep a spot warm for you. 🦖

Nope. Virexon is free to join: no server rental, no hosting and no setup. Just hop in and play. Our admins keep the servers running, updated and backed up, so you can focus on taming.

Hop into our Discord first. You'll find the rules, the server names for all 10 maps and a bunch of friendly survivors ready to help. Then search the server in ASA and spawn in.

Nope. ASA downloads everything automatically when you join. Grab a snack the first time, it's worth it.

Absolutely. Boosted rates mean less grinding and more playing, and the community is happy to help you find your feet. Veterans with thousands of hours are just as welcome. We promise not to judge your 47th Argentavis.

Yes. Play solo, start a tribe or join one. You decide what your ARK becomes.

Nope, and it never will be. Every tame, every Tek tier and every base on Virexon is earned by playing, just like ARK should be. If you enjoy the cluster and want to help keep the servers running, you can support us with a donation in our shop. Donations are always optional and never needed to keep up with other survivors.

Yes. We wipe the maps every day, but your data stays safe: your survivor, tribe, tamed dinos, bases and items are never touched. The daily wipe only clears out wild dinos, nests and other clutter, which keeps the servers clean and fast and fills every map with fresh wild dinos to hunt and tame.

Every day around 07:30 UTC the cluster takes a short break for updates, backups and the daily map wipe. You'll get in-game warnings starting 15 minutes before, so nobody gets caught mid-tame.

Lost Colony is planned to join Virexon. And we're still growing... 👀

Our in-game currency. You earn them simply by playing and by taking part in events, and you can spend them in the admin shop or trade them with other survivors. Who knew seeds could be this valuable?
